Home Performance with ENERGY STAR
American Property Consultants, Inc. offers the Maryland Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program (MDHPwES). We work to deliver whole-house energy savings to improve comfort and help protect the environment
What is MDHPwES?
The Maryland Home Performance program is sponsored by the Maryland Energy Administration which trains and certifies contractors to perform energy audits and install whole-house energy improvements. It is part of Governor O'Malley's EmPOWER Maryland initiative which seeks to reduce Maryland's electricity consumption 15% per person by 2015.
Home Performance with ENERGY STAR is a one stop shop for all comfort, energy, and indoor air quality improvements. It begins with a detailed home energy audit that includes the blower door test. Our highly-trained inspectors will use high-tech equipment that will look at your home's problem areas and identify the problem areas. Inspect and investigate your heating, cooling, and water heating systems and speak with you about your utility bills from the past year*
*We will need to obtain a copy from the past year's worth of utility bills for further diagnosis.
